About Us

Richard A. Mueller, CPA, CFA is founder and Chief Investment Officer of Peak Investment Advisors. He has a BA in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He has been employed in the investment research and management business since 1986 and is both a CPA (1983) and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) (1989). He is a member of the Denver Society of CFA’s, the CFA Institute, the AICPA and the Colorado Society of CPA’s.

As an investment analyst, Mr. Mueller has appeared on CNN, been a guest on Terry Savage’s NBC program and been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, the American Banker, the Chicago Tribune and the New York Times.
